The string type general-purpose bellows expansion joint is composed of two sets of bellows and structural members, and is mainly used for an expansion joint that absorbs axial displacement and cannot withstand the pressure thrust of the bellows.
Because of its simple structure and low manufacturing cost, this is the cheapest price among all expansion joints. For pipelines with small pipe diameters and easy to set up fixed supports, this type should be preferred. However, it cannot withstand the pressure thrust, so when choosing it, be sure to calculate the pressure thrust correctly and set the fixed support correctly. For large-diameter pipelines, although the pressure is low, the pressure thrust is also surprisingly large, so it is necessary to set the fixed support and the sliding support.
